Lake Mburo National Park Day Trip departs early morning from Kampala Uganda’s capital and largest city. The drive along Mbarara Road takes an easy 3 hours to the park. An early departure from Kampala allows you to enjoy a morning game drive in the Park followed by lunch and a boat trip on Lake Mburo. Animals seen include Hippos, Crocodiles, Warthog, Buffalo, Water-buck and Reed-buck etc)

Our one Day lake Mburo Uganda safari starts from Kampala capital city very early in the morning and we to lake Mburo National park to enjoy the experience of beautiful wild life which is not found in any park of East Africa.

Along the way you make a brief stop at the equator to stretch your legs if possible make simple shopping and take lovely photographs. The park has dotted acacia trees and numerous lakes surrounded by swamps providing habitat for water birds of different species and wildlife. Impala, Zebras (home for thousands of Burch ell’s Zebras), Buffaloes, Topi  are common sight in this park.

A boat ride combined with a game drive offer an excellent way to enjoy the flora and fauna in the park. Antelopes commonly seen include: Topi, Bush-buck, Water-buck, Reed-buck. Other animals include Buffaloes, Warthogs, Bush-pigs and Hippopotamus and many more.

Later after your heavy lunch and relaxation depart to enjoy your two hours horseback riding, this trip will take you through the park from Mihingo lodge and this will be your great opportunity to take nice photos of park animals since you will have a chance to go closer to the animals, it is a very great activity for a couple and don’t be scared about your safety because you will be  guided by a professional horse guide. Therefore, prepare your camera with a full battery not to miss any minute of this ride. Return to Mihingo safari lodge to relax and then later we conclude one day lake Mburo National park safari and then we start a journey back to Kampala.

The day tour to Lake Mburo National park includes a stopover at the equator center, Afternoon boat cruise and 2 hours horseback riding.
