Our 6 Day Kibale chimpanzee trekking, Gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth will take us to the tropical famous rain forests of Uganda and the beautiful park which has different wildlife a tourist should not miss to see.
6 Day Kibale chimpanzee trekking, Gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth itinerary

Day 1 Drive to Kibale forest

Very early in the morning after your break fast you will leave Kampala and drive heading to the west with the English driver guide you pass through green beautiful vegetation ,various traditional villages and traditional markets along side the country side, you will drive to fort portal and then continue to Kibale forest for chimpanzee trekking.

Kibale forest is one the great African rain forest as per research reserves and the forest is popular for variety of primates and species of birds. At your arrival you can take a walk a round the village and a visit to crater lakes region and tea plantation and many other activities that you may like. Dinner and over night at your booked lodge.

Day 2 Chimpanzee trekking and Driving to queen Elizabeth

Early in the morning after your break fast you will you will prepare your self head to the head offices for orientation with the guide you will  set off for chimpanzee trekking the popular activity in the forest. During the trek you will encounter other primates like red tailed monkeys, olive baboons,Black and white Columbus monkeys and many more and also you may spot mammals like forest, Elephants, buffaloes and a lot of birds and butter flies, the beauty of the forest and many more. After locating the chimps you will have an opportunity to take close shots, spend time with them and then return to your lodge you check out and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park.

Queen Elizabeth National park is well known for variety of wild animals like loins, leopards, Uganda Kob, buffaloes antelopes, Elephants and many and once you land in this park you will have chances to see each and every animal. The park is bordered by Lake George in North East and Lake Edward in South West and these two lakes  are connected by Kazinga channel. At arrival you will check into your lodge for relaxation, freshening up and an over night.

Day 3 Game drive in Queen Elizabeth and Boat cruise on Kazinga channel

Very in the morning we prepare our selves for a game drive that will enable you to see every animal before most of them go for hunting, you will be able to see lions at a close range, giraffe, Elephants, antelopes, zebras, forest hog and many others a drive will take 2 hours and return to the lodge for break fast preparing self for a boat cruise at Kazinga channel.

Afternoon you will join a boat cruise that will give you an opportunity to view aquatic animals at a close range like crocodiles buffaloes some lying on the shores of channel, others swimming in the waters and others dozing as they are enjoying the sun shine. Also you will view lots of bird species on the shores of the channel it is their home, birds like, king fishers, saddle billed stork, pink backed pelicans and many more, your cameras should be near so as  you can take lovely shots. After the experience you return to your lodge you may decide to go for the evening game drive for its optional. Dinner and over night at your lodge.

Day 4 Drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest

You will check out from your lodge after your break fast and drive through Isasha sector searching for tree climbing lions you will guide so as you can see them in the fig trees. This is one of the places with tree climbing lions Africa.

NOTE; Driving through Ishasha sector depends on weather condition, if its Rainy season we will just drive straight to Bwindi impenetrable forest.

Many activities can be done at the arrival like taking forest walk, moving around the area etc. After all of these of your choice you will return to your lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 5 Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi impenetrable forest

You will have your break fast early morning head to the park offices orientation ready with your packed lunch , walking stick, dressed in your long sleeved shirts and trousers ,carrying your rain jacket and others necessary. You will enter the forest in a group of maximum 8 people with a guide and start the trek moving from one place to another since these humble giants keep on building new nests every day.

When sighted you will sit around  them in 5 meters ,take photographs and time spent with gorillas is one hour as recommended by the park rules and regulations. After the experience is the return to the lodge and according to the time and energy you may take a walk around them village for cultural insights and other activities as you may like.after every thing return to your lodge for dinner and break fast.

Day 6 Return to Kampala

You check out from your lodge and start a journey back to Kampala and on the way you make a stop over  at the equator you take photos ,make some shopping and  have lunch then proceed with the journey to Kampala.
