5 days Kidepo valley national park safari

True African wilderness is the Kidepo valley national in the northern corner of Uganda bordering southern Sudan. Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be picked by our safari guide who will transfer you to the accommodation of your choice. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.

Day 2: Drive to Kidepo valley.
After breakfast our guide will pick you at your lodge, and then drive you to Kidepo valley national park which is about 10 hours’ drive from Kampala via Gulu, Kitgum and then arrive in Kidepo valley through Lokumoit Gate late in the evening. Then check in the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kidepo savannah lodge.

Day 3: Game drive and nature walk.
After breakfast you will have morning game drive in the park and expect to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, hyenas and a variety of bird species like ostriches. Have lunch and head for a nature walk, later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kidepo savannah lodge.

Day 4: full day national park exploration
Have breakfast and head to the park headquarters to be briefed about the day’s program, drive to the park to explore various mammals mostly interesting are the big game, later diner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala
After breakfast, with your packed lunch drive back to Kampala via Gulu. Upon your arrival late in the evening, you will transfer to your place of residence or Entebbe airport.
