5 Day Volcanoes National park and Nyungwe forest itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at the airport /Transfer to Volcanoes National park
You will meet our company representative at Kigali air port and then get a simple briefing a bout the safari and then start your journey to Volcanoes National park. The journey is pleasant with landscape, and rolling hills well known in Rwanda. At the arrival you will check into your lodge for refreshment

Day 2 Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National park
Early in the morning you will have break fast and then prepare your self for an amazing experience, you will set off to head office for briefing and then with your guide you start the trek mostly you trek in groups. you should be dressed up in long sleeved shirts, trekking boats and others used in trekking.
These gorillas keep on moving from one to another and so trekking may take some time depending on their location.
When you come across gorillas you will spend an hour with them as you are observing , looking into their eyes, sitting a round them, and taking shoots. You will return to your lodge after the experience and if you still have energy you make take a walk as you learn more of culture and as you enjoy culture entertainment . Over night and dinner at the booked lodge.

Day 3 Transfer to  Nyungwe forest National park
You will check out from your lodge and then start a journey to Nyungwe forest making stop overs at interesting places, market places and many more when you arrive at Nyungwe you will check into your booked lodge.
When you arrive earlier you may go for bird watching with the help of the guide and you will have an opportunity of seeing different bird species since this forest has various bird species after wards you will return to your lodge for over night and dinner.

Day 4 Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest
Early in the morning you will sett off for chimpanzee trekking in this forest with the help your guide. Trekking may take some time but you will also trek other primates like Gery checked monkeys, mangabeys and man more.  You will also come across birds of different species , butterflies, plant species and flowers. After the experience you will return to your lodge for relaxation.
You will also have an opportunity you go for a nature walk in Nyungwe forest you explore the forest and many more .
Day 5 Canopy walk  and transfer to Kigali
Early in the morning you will have break fast and then set off for canopy walk .During this activity you will get an opportunity of exploring the forest in and out and you will come across many bird species flying above you and , primates like monkeys roam a round in top of the trees and  in Nyungwe forest this is the best moment ever, After you will start your journey back to Kigali and if time allows you will visit the Gisozi genocide memorial and then be transferred to the airport for your flight.
