Lake Mburo national Park is the smallest national park located in Kiruhura district in western Uganda.The park is conveniently close to a high way that connects that connects Kampala to western parks of Uganda.The park is situated about 30 kilometers (19miles) by road east of Mbarara the largest city in the sub region and the home of long horned cattle.

This location is approximately 240km (150miles) by road west of Kampala,Uganda’s capital and largest city. There are different animals species, that is to say  Giraffes,Buffaloes, Hippos, Crocodiles, Zebras, Elands and Antelopes for those interested in game viewing and about 300 plus bird species for those who love to enjoy birding safaris and various species of butterflies.
Whereas Queen Elizabeth National park gives you a chance of spotting tree climbing lions, visiting the crater lakes, experiencing the memorable game drive to see a lot of animals like Antelopes, Buffaloes, Hippos and have a great memorable incredible kazinga channel boat cruise. Detailed itinerary

Day 1-Travel to lake Mburo National park
We set off to lake mburo national park very early in the morning through beautiful green vegetation along the country side road and lovely scenery of beautiful landscape of Mbarara region, a stop over will be made in Mbarara town for a cup of coffee, ease your self ,and stretch your legs.

Afterwards we pull off to lake Mburo national park at the arrival you will go for a game viewing searching for different animals like Zebra, Elands, Elephants ,Giraffe, Antelopes, Giant forest hog and many more.

You will have lunch and the prepare for the lunch cruise where you will be able to view various aquatic animals like Crocodile, Hippos, Buffaloes , different bird species and beautiful butterflies and this will give you a chance to takes good shots as the cruise continues. After the cruise you will transfer back to the booked lodge.

Day 2-Queen Elizabeth National park -Boat cruise Kazinga channel

After an early breakfast you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park,at the arrival you will check into the booked lodge to freshen up and prepare for the lunch cruise at  kazinga channel where you will be able to see aquatic animals like crocodiles, Buffaloes, Hippos, at a close range while they are dozing in the sun rays of Africa and others swimming in the waters  the  channel.
 You will be able to also see different species of birds like king fishers,shoe bills stock,fish eagle,falcons,flamingos,bee eater some of these fishing and swimming in the shallows of the channel.This will give you an opportunity to take lovely shots of the aquatic animals in the park t a close range. Afterwards you will transfer to the booked lodge freshen up and prepare for the  evening game drive.

Set off for the evening game viewing where you will be able to see different animals like Elephants, Giraffe, Zebras, Leopards, Lions, Bush pig, you will see animals in a vast population while they are grazing and others resting in the sun set of Africa, will take photographs and the drive will take 2 hours and retreat to the lodge .

Day 3-Game drive and climbing lions.

Early in the morning you will set off for the morning game drive because during early morning hours most of the animals are just waking up to go and graze and others to hunt, and this gives you an opportunity to see lions laying down and others just waking up so as they can catch up with the hunting.

This will gives you an opportunity to see them at a close range which is interesting and amazing and also you will be able to see elephants, giraffes, antelopes, warthogs, leopards, hyena,zebras and many,this will reward you with a memorable experience and taking of good shots at the same time.

The game drive will take around 2 hrs or 2 and a half hours.afterwards you will transfer to the back to booked lodge for your break fast.
After your breakfast we will take a drive through Ishasha sector and this is one of places known in east Africa for tree climbing lions.

Lions here are characterized with climbing trees and you will be directed by the guide so as you can take good view of them and be able to take amazing shots as they are hitching in the fig trees hence a memorable experience.Afterwards you will transfer to the booked lodge as you take a view of beautiful Savannah grass lands and different bird species and butterflies.
Over night and dinner at the booked lodge.

Day 4-Transfer back to Kampala
After an early you will depart to Kampala a stop over will be made at the equator so as you can take photographs, shopping, easing your self and lunch.

Afterwards we pull off to the crafts  village at Mpigi known for traditional drum making, take photos  and then proceed to Kampala as you are taking a view of green beautiful vegetation  Entebbe for your flight and then end our 4 Days Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth safari with a great smile.
