Kibale forest National park is one of the best destination for chimpanzee trekking in Uganda .The park is located in west of Uganda in the shadows of Rwenzori mountains. contains the beautiful and most varied tracts of tropical forest in the whole Uganda.
It is also known as a home of forest wild life has 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzee which make it an ideal destination for tourists. Day 1 Driving to Kibale forest
You will depart Kampala very early in the morning and drive heading Kibale forest national park with our caring English speaking driver guide through beautiful green vegetation and landscapes.
You will have a stop over in Fort portal so that you can ease and stretch your legs afterwards you pull off to Kibale forest one of the great African rain forest famous for a variety primates and birds. You will check in at your lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 2 Chimpanzee trekking ,Bigodi wet land, and other primates
After your early break fast you will set off for the walk in Kibale rain forest for chimpanzee trekking, you will be helped by the guide to find the chimps and answering questions that you ask. As you will be on the trek you will also see other primates since this forest has 13 species, and you will also come across mammals, beautiful flowers, different species of trees, birds and butterflies floating through air, as you make use of your cameras of chimps moving around and any thing of your interest. After wards you will have lunch and relax a bit before joining the Bigodi wet land walk.
Bigodi wet lands is located out side the park in Magombe swamp and it has species of primates like red tailed monkeys, bush backs, red colobus, olive baboon. The wet land is a paradise for bird lovers has 100+ species you will be able to see other mammals.
The walk takes 2-3 hours for those who love birds and the walking condition is like that of Kibale forest some parts are muddy and you should have strong walking shoes After you will return back to the lodge for dinner and over night.
Day 3 Return back to Kampala
After break fast you will check out the hotel a stop over will be made on the for lunch and continue your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight
