Sipi Falls comprises of series of three falls  located in eastern Uganda in Kapchorwa district near Mbale district, The falls lies on the edge of Mount Elgon National Park near the western side of Kenya. Sipi Falls is approximately 235 kilometers from Kampala City and takes 4.5 hours’ drive and the  area is particularly famous  for locally grown Bugisu Arabic coffee.
Sipi water Falls is the base for Mt. Elgon climbing and hiking starting points with the most popular route being the Budadiri which follows the Sasa trail to the summit and descends back down through the Sipi Trail. Other adventure activities around Sipi water Falls include, Abseiling at the Sipi Falls, Sipi Falls rock climbing around the region of Mountain Elgon, Nature walk, birding, mountain biking, cultural visit around the Bagisu people in the region who are mainly farmers mainly producing Arabic Coffee which is also the main cash crop.

Day 1 Depart from Kampala to Sipi falls

3 Day Sipi water falls,hike on mount Elgon,nature walk Uganda safari starts with an early breakfast followed by a pick-up from your hotel by our driver heading to Sipi by passing through Mabira forest ,Jinja, Iganga and Mbale towns to Sipi region.
You will enjoy lunch and after you will begin to explore the nearby main Sipi Falls which is a set of 3 falls, there are caves behind the main falls. As you climbing to the top of the falls you will discover lots of bird species.  The views are breathtaking and the hike takes about 2½ hours ,you will return  to the lodge for relaxation at a lodge of your choice

Day2 Hike at Mt Elgon and nature walk

After an early break fast and briefing from the guide we  set off for the hike on mount Elgon.The hike covers about 7 kilometers and could take nearly 3-4 hours depending on one’s pace and walking fitness. A short drive to mount Elgon  Exploration Center,bamboo forests, and of course splendid views of Mount Elgon and the valleys below .
Different bird species like Black Collared Apalis, Hartlaub’s T uraco , Mountain Green bull, bar-tailed Trogon, beautiful butterflies,Fields of wildflowers, The walk takes you through the community with great views of the hilly farming areas. After every thing we have lunch  then drive back to the lodge through a pleasant countryside with great views of the scenery in all directions. Transfer back to lodge.

Day3 Transfer back to Kampala

Our 3 Day Sipi water falls,hike on mount Elgon,nature walk is concluded by an early break fast,checking out from the lodge and then we set off back to Kampala a stop over at the source of river Nile have Lunch then proceed to Kampala .
