Our 2 Day best of  Lake Mburo National Park Safari takes to explore Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest Savannah national park in Uganda occupying an area of about 370 square kilometers. The park offers opportunities to see Elands, Zebras, water bucks, Impala, Crested Crane, Buffalo together with the elusive rare Shoe bill stork and horseback riding in the wilderness.

2 Day best of  Lake Mburo National Park is a short overnight trip to Lake Mburo which is the closest National Park to Kampala.With an area of 370 square kilometers, Lake Mburo National Park is the only Uganda National Park that contains an entire Lake. The park is characterized with a varied landscape of open savanna and acacia woodland, seasonal and permanent swamps, forest and open water.
The Park is a home to a number of wildlife Zebra, Eland, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Impala, the park also offers a very good spot for bird watching.

2 Day best of  Lake Mburo National Park includes a stopover at the equator center, Afternoon boat cruise and 2 hours horseback riding. The boat trip and horseback riding are usually the highlights of the day tour as you are able to see crocodiles, hippos and a large a variety of birds and getting closure to many herbivorous in inhabitants of the park such the beautiful striped Zebras, the giant peaceful giraffes, The best antelope “Eland”, and Impala etc

Day 1: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

 we start our 2 Day best of  Lake Mburo National Park Safari after breakfast at your hotel meet our driver guide and proceed south west of Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park. A stop over at the equator and stretch your legs, make simple shopping, and take lovely shots. The journey will take approximately 3.5 hours. The driving distance from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park is 270 Kilometers.

Upon arrival at the park you will keep an eye for a game drive en route to the lodge. Along the way we might see Zebras, Elands, and Uganda Kobs among others.And then we will have Lunch before afternoon boat ride.

Our afternoon will be spent on a boat ride searching for aquatic animals like crocodiles, Hippos, Buffaloes as well as birds like cormorant, pelicans, fish eagle heron  and this will give you an opportunity to take lovely shots and this will take 2 hours on the beautiful Lake .
In the evening you will set off for the game in search for wild animals like,Impalas, Zebras, Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Giraffes, Antelopes, Uganda Kob and many more after return to your lodge .

Day 2:  – Morning horseback riding-Drive to Entebbe/ Kampala

 You will set off to enjoy your two hours horseback riding, this trip will take you through the park from Mihingo lodge and this will be your great opportunity to take nice photos of park animals since you will have a chance to go closer to the animals, it is a very great activity for a couple and don’t be scared about your safety because you will be guided by a professional horse guide. Therefore, prepare your camera with a full battery to take close shots not to miss any minute of this ride. After the experience return to your Lodge, relax later have Lunch and the we conclude our 2 Day best of  Lake Mburo National Park by starting  a journey bark to Kampala
